Federal Criminal Appellate Lawyer
I have practiced law at the highest levels of the federal legal system for over three decades. I served as an attorney for the U.S. Department of Justice from 1978 until 2007 and earned a distinguished reputation and remarkable success in criminal appeals. My years of experience, thorough knowledge of all aspects of criminal law, and diligence in the protection of my clients' rights can be vital to the success of your case. Contact me for an initial consultation about your trial or appellate case.
I provide the following services in federal criminal defense matters:
Motion practice in federal criminal cases: For lawyers litigating complex criminal cases, I can assist with both the general framework of the case, prepare specific motions, and help prepare for the appellate process in the event of a conviction.
Appeals in federal criminal cases: If you or your client has been found guilty in a federal criminal case and would like to appeal the conviction, I will draw on over 30 years of federal criminal appellate experience in briefing and arguing the case on appeal.
U.S. Supreme Court practice: In the event that your or your client's appeal is unsuccessful, I will prepare a petition for a writ of certiorari in the Supreme Court, and will also write a brief on the merits if the Court grants review.
If you would like to inquire about a criminal defense trial issue or an appeal, please contact me for an initial consultation about the case.
